The Visita Iglesia (or “Seven Churches Visitation”) is a longstanding Catholic Lenten Tradition in many countries where the faithful visit seven churches. The churches included in this global visita have been selected because they are located in the cities that have, as of 07 April 2020, posted the most deaths due to the coronavirus disease: WUHAN (China), MADRID (Spain), LONDON (United Kingdom), TEHRAN (Iran), MILAN (Italy), NEW YORK (United States), and PARIS (France). An eighth optional church in Manila is added since this activity originated from the Philippines.

but our 244 online initiatives have grown into successful independent projects and so many new have been established following the example. We're unable to track all of them, so we've decided to turn this page into an archive and invite you to check the updated options at the local Jesuits' sites.
