Udayani Reaches out to the Marginalized in West Bengal

Lock-down strikes the poor, they need to survive the hunger more than Covid-19. Udayani plunged to help the poor and needy during this plight.

Udayani Social Action Forum initiated to help the families with dry food package of Rice, Dal, Cooking Oil, salt and Soap for the widows, Elders, migrant and daily laborers and non ration card holders in 24 Parganas South, West Bengal. The main objective is to provide essentials for the needy so that they do not starve due to lock-down. It is the hunger which affects the people in India than the Covid-19. There were about 200 needy families benefited from the relief work.
