These prayers and reflections are meant as instructions for prayer – practical points that can lead us into a deeper contemplation of the Scriptural texts of Holy Week. It would be great if one can find 15-30 minutes everyday to stay with these texts, savouring them and listening to where the Lord is leading us.
Here’s how this little Holy Week “Retreat” that we can do amidst the busyness of our daily lives will go.
- There will be a daily post on the main blog (linked from here as well) that will provide some points for prayer.
- On Palm Sunday and on the days of the Triduum (Thursday-Sunday), the focus will be on the Gospel of the day.
- On Monday-Wednesday of Holy Week, one of the Old Testament readings from the Easter Vigil will be used for prayer.
