Arul Anandar College, a rural Jesuit College situated on the outskirts of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, was able to reach out to 500 poverty-stricken families in and around Usilampatty who have lost their means of livelihood due to the nCOVID-19 crisis. The affected people were mostly Gypsies and Dalits to whom food provisions worth about Rs. 400,000 were given.
